General Function: Lead and manage the Business & Industry Management, AOS in Accounting, and Bookkeeping programs. Responsible for curriculum development, faculty oversight, academic quality assurance, student success initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Ensures that all program areas align with institutional goals and meet the needs of today’s evolving business and accounting industries.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of curriculum and instructional materials for all assigned programs.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and employer expectations.
- Monitor course delivery for quality, rigor, and student engagement.
- Facilitate program review and learning outcome assessments.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate program faculty and adjunct instructors.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to faculty in instructional best practices and classroom management.
- Lead regular departmental meetings and faculty development sessions.
- Monitor student performance, retention, and graduation rates; implement improvement strategies as needed.
- Address academic concerns, complaints, and appeals in accordance with college policies.
- Collaborate with career services to support student success and job placement.
- Ensure course schedules, syllabi, and instructional plans are accurate and delivered on time.
- Maintain program documentation for accreditation, regulatory compliance, and institutional reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the program areas and other campus departments.
- Participate in budget planning and resource management for the department.
- Build and maintain relationships with employers, advisory boards, and industry partners.
- Integrate real-world applications, certifications, and career readiness components into coursework.
- Represent the college at community, business, and education events relevant to program areas.
