About the Job
Bring your creativity and communication skills to the Champaign Park District! As our Content Coordinator, you’ll help shape how our community connects with programs, events, and performances. From managing social media and websites to writing compelling copy and capturing engaging short-form video, this role plays a key part in telling our story and strengthening community engagement.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Plan and manage content calendars across social media, websites, and email platforms.
- Write and edit copy for newsletters, social media posts, websites, and promotional materials.
- Execute digital ad campaigns and track performance metrics.
- Capture, edit, and post short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
- Collaborate with theatre staff, event teams, and designers to create promotional content.
- Provide live event coverage and engage with community members online and in person.
- Analyze engagement and campaign results to improve strategies.
- Ensure content reflects the Park District’s values of inclusion, community, and discovery.
