Location:  Lewiston

Shift/Hours: Monday- Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm- (Flexible scheduling options available; slight adjustments to start/end times may be considered.)

Position Status: Full-Time

Wage: $20-$25/hour

The Team:
Our Production Engineering Team is tasked with supporting all functions of daily operation within the factory, and providing support to our Operations teams.

The Role:
This position supports Manufacturing Engineering and Production by designing, integrating, and maintaining robotic technology used in the fabrication of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies. It includes hands-on maintenance, process optimization, and mentoring peers in areas of robotics, maintenance, and production.

You will spend your time:

  • Research, justify, and propose services and equipment procurement in collaboration with Engineering.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on robotics integration.
  • Program robotic systems for assembly, soldering, and inspection.
  • Troubleshoot robotic and production equipment, including root cause analysis.
  • Create and perform preventive maintenance routines for robotic equipment.
  • Install and validate new equipment using appropriate protocols.
  • Create and update standard work instructions related to robotic systems and processes.
  • Lead and support special projects as assigned.
  • Mentor peers in machine learning, robotics, and related processes.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Production and Engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Production Leadership on layout and process improvements.
  • Manage individual time and project responsibilities effectively.
  • Apply analytical thinking to evaluate alternative solutions and resolve issues.
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Ability to travel (car, plane, etc.) as needed
  • Perform other activities as assigned  

 

Qualifications

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-year degree (currently enrolled students in their final year will be considered) or equivalent work history 
  • Knowledge of Robotics systems and logic control systems
  • Hands-on knowledge of robotics systems and logic control platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset with a self-motivated approach
     

Travel:

This position may require occasional travel between RiverSide facilities in Lewiston and Winona, as well as limited travel for training or business needs.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds

 

Work Environment:

  • Office setting
  • Manufacturing production floor
