Accompanist/Pianist

Position Overview:  NDI New Mexico is seeking a skilled Piano Accompanist to join our Artistic Staff. The Pianist will be responsible for accompanying dance classes and performances within our programs, working closely with Program Artistic Directors and Music Directors to carry out the mission and policies of the organization.

The rate of pay for this position is between $30-$36 per hour.

During the approximately 6-week training program, the rate of pay will be $20 per hour. 

Working Conditions, Environment and Physical Requirements:

• In applicable programs (Outreach) performs functions in a variety of environments including: NDI New Mexico offices, schools, residency sites, and other locations
• In applicable programs (Outreach) may require reimbursable in-state travel to NDI New Mexico locations, participating schools, residency sites, and community events 
• May require weekend and evening hours
• Requires physical activity and stamina
• Requires moving and set up of audio equipment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• 5-10 years of Piano/accompanist experience
