Job Duties

  • Ensure team adherence to all safety standards set by Health-Ade and OSHA.
  • Manage plant-wide preventative maintenance programming, scheduling, and completion.
  • Responsible for uptime and production throughput by implementing proven professional maintenance and reliability improvement processes.
  • Maintain preventive/predictive maintenance programs (including failure and root cause analysis).
  • Ensure equipment reliability to maximize production line productivity.
  • Deploy strategies in reliability that build maintenance and technician capabilities.
  • Implement process improvements to drive package and flavor changeover efficiency.
  • Utilize visual factory concepts to improve asset utilization and plant performance.
  • Track standard manufacturing and parts, metrics and prioritize plant maintenance opportunities.
  • Ability to analyze and present maintenance performance data to senior management.
  • Ensure proper utilization of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Schedule and manage preventative maintenance activities.
  • Develop a team to handle day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
  • Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact.
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues.
  • Builds people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel.
  • Motivate team members to achieve plan goals.
  • Administer policies and procedures.
  • Regular and predictable attendance at the work site.
  • Regular presence on the plant floor, lifting up to 40 lbs occasionally, may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment.
  • May require off-shift and weekend work.
  • Communicate machine improvement suggestions, equipment requiring maintenance, training opportunities, or operational/safety concerns to the manager when appropriate.
  • Create SOP’s for troubleshooting machines.
  • Service and repair equipment on a continual basis.
  • Adhere to established maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain safe work environment – hold regular safety meetings and ensure safety compliance. (I.E.: weekly safety meetings, shop safety inspections, enforcement of lock-out/tag-out program and all other OSHA required regulations).
  • Select, supervise, and provide professional development to maintenance personnel.
  • Maintains all parts acquisition activities.
  • Maintain a compliant stockroom operation that provides repair parts for critical process equipment as well as necessary consumables for the plant.
  • Manage labor within budget.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

 

 

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of operations maintenance experience preferred, along with 2 years of supervisor experience.
  • Preferred: experience working on Krones bottling lines or KHS Can Fillers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, proven by successful completion of a major improvement project.
  • Ability to think quickly, take initiative, think creatively and challenge team to do the same.
  • Possess strong skills in project management.
  • Proven ability to work in a results-oriented, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others.
  • Experience with packaging/high-speed production (e.g., bottling, consumer products, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays).

COMPENSATION At Health-Ade, we know our strongest assets are our people, and we recognize our total compensation package is a huge factor in how you are recognized for the impact you have on the company reaching its goals. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $125,000 – 150,000 per year. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, such as market location, level of experience, and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will remain posted until filled.
