Our culture of excellence is about serving each other and our customers well. Our specialty flooring crew members work on residential and commercial construction projects performing a wide range of skilled labor tasks at renovation sites. On the job training will be provided.

JOB DETAILS:

  • Full-time
  • Monday Friday
    • occasional Saturdays will be required
  • Starts at $15/hour
  • Location: Lubbock, TX

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The following statements describe the principal functions of this job and its scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.

  • Sanding and refinishing hardwood floors
  • Grinding and polishing concrete
  • Operate and handle professional equipment, commercial grinders, and hand tools
  • Honing and polishing natural stone
  • Installing glue down and nail down hardwood flooring, stained concrete, epoxy coatings
  • Organizing abrasives, sealers, finishes and cleaning/maintaining equipment daily
  • Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work hard and not afraid to get hands dirty
  • Day travel and some overnight travel required
  • Fits within the company culture and works with a disciplined mindset
  • Holds themselves accountable and has exceptional character
  • Ability to communicate proficiently (written and verbally) with managers and team members
  • Ability to remain goal-focused in stressful situations
  • Ability to always maintain an upbeat and positive attitude
  • Must be detail-oriented and can multi-task
  • Must be results-driven and team-oriented
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • 1+ years of residential/commercial construction
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, reach, and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to carry, push, and pull objects
  • Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time

EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma (or G.E.D.)
