Spanish Ministry Intern

We are seeking a Christ-centered, passionate, and committed intern to serve in our Spanish Ministry.  This role focuses on leading worship on Sundays and providing general support to the Spanish-speaking congregation and ministry activities.  This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in church leadership, worship ministry, and cross-cultural ministry engagement

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead worship in Spanish during Sunday services
• Coordinate with volunteers for rehearsals and song selection
• Help prepare media (lyrics, slides, etc.) for worship services
• Support the audio/visual setup as needed

Ministry Support:

• Assist in organizing and supporting weekly or monthly Spanish ministry events (Bible studies, outreach, fellowship)
• Provide administrative and/or logistical support to the Spanish Ministry Pastor
• Help engage and build relationships with congregation members
• Participate in leadership meetings and training, as assigned

Spiritual

• Fully committed to the Mission and Core Values of First Baptist Grapevine
• Fully committed to the Senior Pastor, the Executive Leadership Team, their Ministry Leader, and the overall church ministry
• Fully committed to biblical Christian principles and teachings professionally and personally
• Fully committed to demonstrating characteristics that reflect a person of faith and a lifestyle of biblical integrity
• A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ

Professional & Education (Certifications or Licenses)

• Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written); English proficiency
• Experience in music and worship (vocals and instrument – piano or guitar)
• A heart for ministry and serving the Spanish-speaking community
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative
• Willingness to learn and receive mentorship
• Proficient in Worship Technology such as ProPresenter, Planning Center, MultiTracks, Digital Media, etc…)
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and apply skills learned
