Responsibilities
Strategy
- Stay informed of current trends in visual design and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Maintain high standards of visual design across all projects.
- Maintain current church branding standards across assigned Northwest design and communications projects.
Management/Implementation
- Respond to requests for creative assets and publicity to support timely and effective promotion of related ministry events.
- Organize and manage creative design projects, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Assist the communications team in preparing and executing graphic design initiatives for Sunday worship services, including creative visuals and publicity elements.
- Coordinate development of creative and promotional materials for special and church-wide events.
- Produce design layouts for print publications, including booklets, mailers, brochures, and curriculum.
- Produce graphics for campus signage (internal and external).
- Manage timelines and expectations for assigned design projects among staff.
- Manage pre-production on assigned design projects outsourced for printing.
- Work with communications team and vendors as needed to ensure outsourced creative projects are produced as intended.
- Collaborate with video and social media teams to create visual elements supporting sermons, events, and church-wide initiatives.
