The Role
The Regional Director, Revenue Systems & Optimization (RDRSO) will drive both strategic revenue management and technology optimization across a portfolio of hotels.
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on analytics, systems mastery (SynXis CRS, Opera Cloud PMS, RMS platforms), and revenue innovation. You’ll ensure hotels are maximizing system capabilities, aligning pricing and distribution strategies, and staying ahead of market demand.
As a trusted partner to hotel leadership, you’ll guide teams in leveraging data and technology to achieve revenue goals while training and mentoring property staff on best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize rooms and F&B profitability across assigned hotels.
- Serve as a systems authority—optimizing configuration, auditing performance, and ensuring best practices in SynXis CRS, Opera Cloud PMS, and RMS platforms.
- Design and refine pricing and distribution strategies tailored to property and market dynamics.
- Analyze market demand, competitor performance, STR data, and CRS/RMS outputs to guide tactical and long-term decisions.
- Train and mentor property teams on system functionality, reporting, and revenue best practices.
- Partner with General Managers, Sales, Operations, and Ownership to align strategies and achieve goals.
- Lead hotel forecasting, budgeting, and commercial planning processes.
- Produce monthly regional performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Manage third-party distribution strategies and provide input on group sales optimization.
- Audit hotels for compliance with revenue management standards and follow through on corrective actions.
