The Cabinet Department Clerk position is responsible for logging intra-department work orders, entering invoices to be paid, maintaining department spreadsheets, along with answering inbound calls to the cabinet department. The employee must demonstrate a high level of professionalism due in part to the high level of phone conversations during the workday ensuring to properly represent the Hershey Creamery Company. This role is responsible for notification of outstanding balances owed to service companies and examination of internal work orders. At times, the employee will be responsible for equipment and parts purchase orders, equipment inventory, receiving equipment, and assisting Floor Supervisor with equipment concerns.
Responsibilities include:
· Coordination with branches requesting equipment, parts, and general material associated with branch needs.
· Freight and parts write up.
· Entering new requisitions.
· Main and update existing data tracking spreadsheets.
· Recording in house service bills.
· Assist with loading and unloading of freezer and parts shipments and deliveries.
· Maintaining current price lists.
· Answering cabinet department phones.
· Assisting with equipment inventory.
· Providing branches with knowledge of equipment parts and how to obtain material.
· Assist Floor Supervisor with requested duties.
· Maintain working status of office equipment and network.
· Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
