Our Technical Site Services group specializes in cleanroom performance testing, certification services, protocol management, world class cleaning and construction management services. We are seeking an experienced Micro - Contamination Technician to join our team.

Our Technical Site Services group specializes in cleanroom performance testing, certification services, protocol management, world class cleaning and construction management services. 

Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for environmental conditions of the factory to maintain the safety, quality, output, and cost performance of the manufacturing factory.  Some degree of judgment is required in resolving non-standard problems. Open to receiving general instructions on most work. 

You will support engineering and manufacturing activities aligned with factory priorities. It includes performing operational tasks, logistics support, and troubleshooting to determine problems with equipment used in the manufacturing process. Analytical measurements will require proficiency in multi-tasking and basic computer skills.

Candidates must be willing to: Regularly lift to 25 lbs. 1- 3 times per shift.  Wear closed-toe shoes for the duration of the shift.  Walk 3-5 miles per shift and stand or sit for up to 9 hours within a shift.  Stand/crouch/kneel for an extended period.  Work in a clean room environment wearing a gown, hood, booties, safety glasses, and gloves for the shift.  Will need to be able to follow detailed instructions, and read schematics, drawings, and diagrams to respond and address technical issues in the fab.  

Demonstrate effective communication skills.  Be comfortable presenting issues and solutions.  Work well in a diverse team environment.  Work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.  Produce quality results in a timely manner.  Discipline and an ability to self-motivate. Strong analytical problem-solving and testing skills.  Effective use of constructive confrontation to address issues.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in cleanroom environments.
  • Expert in cleanroom operating guidelines, including allowed material in the restricted spaces and construction methodologies for cleanroom operation.
  • Familiar with cleanroom air flow dynamics.
  • Able and knowledgeable on how to collect particle data.
  • Troubleshooting mind set.
  • Using specifications, audit cleanrooms and construction areas for appropriate BKMs, and ensuring proper protocols are in place.
  • Proficient in Excel. 
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and independent working.
  • Organized.
  • Ability to walk 5 miles per day or more, and stand/crouch/kneel for an extended period.

Technician Preferred Qualifications

  • STEM degree or associates
  • NEBB Certified Technician
  • Able and knowledgeable on how to collect AMC data.
  • Able and knowledgeable on how to collect vibration data.
  • Proficient in cleanroom air flow dynamics.
