Overview
The NOC Engineer’s primary responsibility is to monitor, troubleshoot, track and report on the
daily operational activities and performance of Surf Internet’s fiber-based network and
systems. This position requires a high attention to detail, and regularly multi-tasking using strong verbal and written communication skills in a collaborative environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Monitor the Surf network for events and anomalies that may lead to disruptions to our customer experience
· Initiate, coordinate and lead triage efforts to restore customer services and mitigate future events
· Support, configure and maintain all Route / Switch and optical transport platforms including, but not limited to Juniper, Mikrotik, Infinera and Adtran
· Manage and track all incoming incident requests using ticketing system
· Serve as escalation contact for Tier 2, Technical representatives
· Support internal NOC escalations through Peer to Peer review process
· Adhere to NOC standard operating procedures
· Track all network changes made through CAB ticket process
· Create change management solutions and track through ticketing system, identifying and overseeing notification of impact to customers.
