Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

SUMMARY
This position will assist the pharmacist in filling, dispensing, and driving/delivering prescriptions to patients of NHC Pharmacy.
Essential Job Duties
- Create pharmacy chart for patients establishing at NHC Pharmacy.
- Enter and update information in patient’s pharmacy record for pharmacist review.
- Assist pharmacist on duty to fill prescription orders.
- Deliver prescriptions to patient’s home after release and counseling by pharmacist on duty.
- Enter and bill pharmacy insurance plans for dispensed prescriptions.
- Coordinate and schedule delivery of prescriptions to patients.
- Coordinate and collect payment from patients for dispensed prescriptions.
- Maintain NHC Pharmacy on site inventory and inventory records.
- Order and check in medications and other supplies from vendors.
- Review stock to remove expired medications.
- Answer phone calls and refer to the pharmacist on duty when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
