Minimum Qualifications & Training:
- Must be a born-again Christian.
- Must be a credible Christian role model whose godly lifestyle and character demonstrate obedience to God and the Holy Bible.
- Must be able to support and comply with the school’s Statement of Faith and Statement of Conduct.
- Must be a member of an evangelical, Bible-believing church.
- Must have sufficient health and physical endurance to be able to complete the assigned responsibilities.
- Holds a current CA Registered Nurse/Vocational Nurse License.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
- Holds a current First Aid & CPR certification.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills, with proper command of the English language.
- Able to work well independently, manage time well, and handle multiple tasks.
- Must have strong organizational skills for filing and detailed project assignments.
- Maintains a workspace environment that is conducive to productive school office.
- TB clearance within last four years
- First Aid/CPR Clearance
- Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance.
- Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986: An Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) will be required along with the supporting documents listed on the I-9 form.
Personal & Spiritual Responsibilities

- Provides assistance to guests, faculty and staff, parents and students
Nursing Responsibilities
Health Care Services:
- Assess and treat students and staff for injuries, illnesses, and emergencies that occur during school hours.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality of all medical information.
Health Education and Promotion:
- Educate students and staff on health-related topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Develop and implement health promotion programs and initiatives to foster a healthy school environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and counselors to address health concerns affecting students’ academic performance.
Health Screening and Monitoring:
- Conduct health screenings such as vision, hearing, and scoliosis to identify health issues early.
- Monitor immunization compliance and maintain health records in accordance with state regulations.
- Provide guidance to parents and guardians on health-related issues and resources.
Emergency Response and Preparedness:
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid until further medical assistance arrives.
- Develop and implement emergency action plans in collaboration with school administrators and staff.
- Maintain emergency supplies and equipment, ensuring readiness at all times.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and support staff to promote a safe and healthy school environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and healthcare providers regarding student health concerns and medical needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address individual student health plans and accommodations.
