Day Porter

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Wipe down breakroom and restock supplies
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners for central trash stations
• Clean the whiteboard in the conference rooms
• Make sure chairs are pushed in and all extra chairs are off to the side in an organized manner
• Wipe down conference room tables
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
• Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary

EXPECTED RESULTS

• Consistently maintain breakroom and conference rooms cleaned and in an organized manner
• Efficiently address any cleaning challenges
• Effectively communicate issues, restoking of supplies and special client requests
• Adherence to all company policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
