The Oaks of Clearwater senior living facility is looking for a full-time employee to be our business office assistant for our skilled nursing facility. This person will be responsible to help with getting admission papers, verify insurances, get insurance authorizations, filing and collecting claims. If this is you, apply now.

Key Responsibilities:

- Insurance Billing: Assist with Insurance verifications, authorizations. and claims filing.

- Clerical: Admission Packets, Filing

.-  Accounts Receivable: Assist with collections, claims follow up.

- Record Keeping: Maintain organized financial records and manage office documentation.

- Customer Service: Interact with residents, families, and staff to address financial inquiries.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to healthcare finance regulations and guidelines.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Experience: Previous experience in Skilled Nursing Facility or a health care setting similar role is preferred.

- Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, excellent organizational and communication skills.

- Financial Acumen: Familiarity with billing procedures, insurance claims filing, and basic accounting principles, accounts payables & AR collections.

- Attention to Detail: Precise data entry and a meticulous approach to financial management.

- Empathy: Compassion and the ability to interact with residents and their families.

- Adaptability: Ability to learn new tasks and desire to develop new professional skills.
