Job Requirements:
Â
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a field related to
communications, business, or marketing.
Â
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of fundraising experience as a staff member at a nonprofit organization with a demonstrated ability to maintain and grow donor relationships, preferably at the managerial level.
- Minimum 1-2 years of managing event budgets and relationships with sponsors/donors/vendors.
- Proven project management success, including ability to coordinate deadlines, manage competing priorities, complete assignments, and work in and lead teams.
Preferred Experience:
- Research and writing skills through grant writing, policy, public health, or advocacy efforts.
- Familiarity with unique needs of survivors and their communities related to our mission to help survivors and prevent assault.
- Experience with social media platforms and content.
- Expertise with DonorPerfect or similar CRM and experience generating reports for analysis, fundraising activities, and segmented communications (digitally or by mail). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Zoom or similar virtual platform, and familiarity with cloud-based collaborative platforms.

Working Environment:
Eligible for hybrid work, with a flexible schedule that includes both remote and in-office work. Typically, 3 days remote
and 2 days in-office and more in-office days as needed for events and projects. Some off-site activities will be held in
other locations, as requested. Must maintain personal cell phone for work-related purposes. Ability to work in IPV, SA,
and stalking fields. Working conditions may include possible exposure to communicable diseases related to those
typically found in social services settings.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully
perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to
talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with
hands and arms. Must be able to carry up to 20lbs.

Travel:
Some travel may be required (approx. 15% within San Diego County). Must have reliable transportation available for
work-related purposes, a valid driver’s license, and proof of automobile insurance.

Work Hours:
The employee must be available during Agency working hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and must work 30 hours each
week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
