Summary/Objective: Designs, develops, and supervises all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery. Responsible for the technical support of PLC based hardware and software, installation, troubleshooting, and training.

Specific Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
· Operate computer systems
· Create electrical schematics
· Confer with technical personnel to prepare designs or operational plans
· Discuss designs or plans with clients
· Maintain electronic equipment
· Direct equipment maintenance or repair activities
· Direct installation activities
· Prepare operational and development reports
· Investigate system, equipment, or product failures
· Estimate technical or resource requirements for development or production projects
· Program PLCs according to customer functional specifications
· Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs
· Program HMIs according to customer specifications
Physical Demands:
· Walking and standing are required
· Light physical work may require exerting up to 20 pounds of force
· Worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as viewing computer, extensive reading, and visual inspection of small parts
· Generally, the worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
· Occasionally climbing, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds may be required
· Occasionally stooping, kneeling, and crouching may be required
· Occasionally the worker is subject to noise, physical hazards, and working in close quarters
