Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or 6+ years equivalent experience).
- 8–10 years of experience developing for QAD ERP on a global scale.
- Minimum 3 years in a lead QAD role.
- Strong proficiency in Progress 4GL/ABL development.
- Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to write functional design documents and test plans.
- Prior leadership experience managing internal and external development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent in English (Spanish or German is a plus).
- Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Technical Expertise:
- QAD ERP (EE/AUX/SE) customization and optimization.
- AUX Browse/Maintenance objects, sub-assemblies, grids, menus, and screen design standards.
- Integration experience with EDI, Concur, Avalara, UPS/FedEx, and custom Web APIs.
- Familiarity with AUX rule-based validations and event-driven scripting.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 5% domestically or internationally; valid passport required.
- Ability to work full-time effectively in a remote environment.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.
