JOB OVERVIEW:

The Finance Operations & Systems Professional supports the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of the Finance department while gaining exposure to financial systems and operational processes across the organization. This role assists with daily financial activities, documentation, and system maintenance that help ensure payments, reporting, and compliance are executed with precision.
This position is well-suited for an early-career professional who is attentive to detail, eager to learn, and interested in how financial systems and technology support the mission of a growing organization. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and motivated to build a foundation for long-term growth in finance operations.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including reimbursements, credit card transactions, and vendor payments.
  • Support the maintenance of finance systems such as Certinia (FinancialForce), Salesforce, and Expensify, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Help monitor compliance activities such as vendor setup, tax documentation, and filing deadlines.
  • Maintain organized documentation, reports, and reconciliations that ensure transparency and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and implement best practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or administrative support (internship or early-career experience considered).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort learning new systems; experience with Certinia, Salesforce, or Expensify preferred.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dependable, collaborative, and motivated to learn new tools and processes.
