General Summary of Job Duties:
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and managing social media content across all platforms to support Silverton Casino’s marketing goals. This role builds brand awareness, drives engagement, and enhances the property’s online community presence. The Social Media Coordinator works closely with the Advertising and Marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging, high-quality visuals, and alignment with property-wide initiatives.
Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement social media strategies that align with overall business and marketing goals. Research target audiences and identify the most effective platforms to reach them.
- Content Creation: Create, curate, and edit engaging content—including copy, images, and videos—for all active social platforms. Ensure that posts align with brand voice and property events.
- Content Management: Maintain and update a social media content calendar. Schedule posts using approved management tools to ensure timely and consistent messaging.
- Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels daily. Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions while fostering a positive and interactive community experience.
- Reputation Management: Review and coordinate responses for guest reviews across social and online platforms. Collaborate with internal departments to address guest feedback and maintain a positive brand presence.
- Social Promotions: Create and manage social media promotions, including ticket giveaways, dining giveaways, and other engagement-based campaigns to drive awareness and participation.
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyze performance metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns. Prepare monthly reports highlighting engagement, reach, and ROI. Use data to recommend content and strategy improvements.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for innovation in content style, format, and engagement tactics.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with the Marketing, Entertainment, and Food & Beverage teams to promote key events, offers, and campaigns across digital channels.
- Administrative & Brand Support: Assist with photo/video shoots, social media influencer coordination, and content approvals. Support special projects and marketing initiatives as assigned.
- Learn all applicable social media and marketing platforms utilized by the property.
