We are seeking a full-time Relief Drivers who are responsible for driving mobile medical imaging equipment to various medical facilities throughout our footprint, which consists of 17 states. These positions are based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You will be required to provide backup coverage for open positions, leaves of absences, vacations, unplanned absences, etc.

Essential Duties:

1. Transports the mobile unit to customer locations. 
2. Maintains the truck and trailer which includes checking and maintaining the fire extinguishers, patient lift, smoke detectors and emergency lighting and scheduling and documenting preventive maintenance as necessary. 
3. Inspects the truck and trailer before and after each trip and submit a report via VI through ELD indicating truck conditions. 
4. Maintains driver logs according to DOT regulations.
5. Transporting patients between the facility and scanner and completing documentation. Providing operational and administrative support to the technologist. Preparing, cleaning and sanitizing exam areas, changing table linens, patient verification, and helping with patient transfers from and to beds, wheelchairs, and carts.
6. This position travels 100% of the time.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• One year recent truck driving experience
• Must be 23+ years of age
• FMCSA Clearinghouse
• Clean MVR
  • No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years or
  • No major violations in the last 5 years (reckless driving, DUI, etc.)
  • No felonies last 5 years
  • No major preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• Must pass DOT Background Check including drug screen
• Strong communication, interpersonal, relationship building, customer service, time management and organizational skills
• The ability to work independently, make decisions, work well under pressure and to meet deadlines

Computer Skills

• The individual should have the ability to access job related internet websites, email, fluent in use of ELD (can train in ELD)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Testing

• CDL - Class A, mandatory education, CPR, Hepatitis B, TB, and other vaccinations
• Valid DOT medical card

Physical Demands 

• Stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel and crawl
• Climb up and down stairs
• Lift up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Push and pull wheelchair
