Starting Rate: $25.47 - $26.45 hourly

General Description:
· The Senior Coordinator works closely with their immediate supervisor to provide support to the team, through mentorship and hands-on support. This position will act as a mentor for new staff joining the team and provide technical assistance for new staff and the team. This position will continue to retain involvement in the core tasks of the coordinators on the team.
· Senior Quality Improvement Coordinator should aspire to and develop skills for leadership roles within the organization.
· Senior Quality Review Coordinator should aspire to and develop skills for leadership roles within the organization.
· Senior Program Support Coordinator should aspire to and develop skills for leadership roles within the organization.
· Senior Navigation Coordinator should aspire to and develop skills for leadership roles within the organization.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
1. TRE’ See responsibilities of the staff members within the team as those job descriptions acknowledge the core tasks in which the Senior must retain proficiency.
2. Maintains familiarity and knowledge of all areas of the team’s responsibility.
3. Provides mentorship and training to onboard new staff members.
4. Works closely with the team supervisor to align expectations and provide technical training to all team staff members.
5. Works in close partnership with the supervisor in the development of process and improvement for the team.
6. Assists with staff evaluations as needed/requested to include quarterly reviews and annual performance evaluations.
7. Assists supervisor with monthly team meetings.
8. Provides coverage when the supervisor is away.
9. Maintains enthusiastic approach to the Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan of the organization, guiding staff in performance which is aligned with these ideals.
10. Sets a positive example for team members with respect to performance, outcomes, and commitment to positive culture. Holds trainees accountable for their actions.
11. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with others. Represents TRE professionally. Builds positive networks with others.
12. Effectively responds to conflict. Handles emotions of self and others well, maintains self-confidence and encourages others to do so as well.
13. Seeks to understand and adapt to necessary changes in operations, while demonstrating a positive attitude; explains changes competently and consistently.
14. Demonstrates knowledge of methods, techniques, and skills required in ongoing functions for self and team.
15. Assists in identifying gaps in learning or training needed to help improve the quality of work being performed by team members.

17. Demonstrates coaching and mentoring by meeting with staff and by attending and observing interactions between them and others.

20. Senior maintain responsibility for a truncated distribution of tasks related to the team.
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Assure Completes and documents targeted case management (TCM) activities according to CMS and DDD rules, as appropriate.
2. Maintains good working knowledge of CCMS, BUS and TRE systems used for business to include client databases, Skype, and video conferencing options.
3. Assures compliance of team with TRE P&Ps, deadlines, rules and regulations as well as processes and procedures in all applicable functions.
4. Maintains an understanding of all governing and partnerships in the service delivery system.
5. Possession of or access to a working (personal) vehicle, valid CO driver’s license (unless active Military family), and minimum insurance levels ($100,000/$300,000/$100,000 liability coverage).
6. Maintains the ability to work with a variety of technology including cell phones and tablets and willingness to stay connected to co-workers electronically. Maintains working knowledge of internet, Windows 8, Skype, email and Microsoft Office programs.
7. Communicates clearly, listens effectively; keeps others informed of necessary and factual information, and avoids negative gossip.
8. Participates in committees and projects as needed and as interested.
9. Participates in professional opportunities (committees, workshops, conferences, journal readings) based on a personal professional development plan.
10. Assists with special projects as needed
11. Performs driving responsibilities related to job duties.
12. Presence during typical work hours is essential.

Job Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or a two-year degree plus two years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities; or five years’ experience in the field of developmental disabilities (experience must be specifically documented and verifiable on your application.) Experience in the
Colorado DIDD system. At least 1-year case management experience at TRE. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong advocacy skills.
Preferred: A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience at TRE and experience with multiple programs or waivers. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, Education, Human Services, or other closely related field. At least two-years of experience in a case management environment. Experience working with families and community resources; knowledge of family dynamics and resource development. Working knowledge of Medicaid Waiver programs and requirements; experience working with persons with disabilities in a community, employment, or recreational setting. Supervision or management experience helpful. Knowledge of and experience working with community resources and resource development.
Material and Equipment Directly Used: Computers/tablets, Printers, Copy Machines, Personal Vehicle, Cell phones/telephone, Cloud based systems and software, etc.
Working Environment and Physical Activities: Frequent changes in environments occur with some positions, but most positions maintain a work setting in the office or remotely. Work settings may also include working from the office, at home, or in another location in the community (library, coffee shop, etc.). Navigation Coordinator meetings occur in a variety of settings like private homes, group homes, state and federally managed facilities, and community locations like homeless shelters, and the settings include occasionally working with or in proximity to people who are incarcerate for a variety of crimes which may include violent crimes and sex offences. There is a frequent need to stand, sit, and walk indoors (and outdoors with the Navigation Coordinator position in a variety of weather conditions while carrying up to 10 pounds of equipment), and there is an occasional need to lift 20 pounds. (ADA accommodations at the request of the employee.) A working vehicle, valid CO driver’s license (unless active Military family), and auto insurance coverage with bodily injury and property damage liability coverage ($100,000/$300,000/$100,000 coverage recommended) are required.
