Henderson and Owensboro, KY
- Provide assistance in a home setting for 2-3 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Support assigned individuals' direct care needs including but not limited to getting dressed, bathing and showering, toileting and hygiene needs, grocery shopping, feeding, medication administration, assistance with walking and/or wheelchair mobility, preparation of meals and snacks as needed, and facilitation of activities to increase community inclusion.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as requested to support individuals in discussions of their person-centered service plans with regard to their health, safety, and overall wellbeing.
- Assist individuals to work toward and achieve their individualized service goals when applicable.
- Work together as a team with other staff assigned to the home to ensure the day-to-day functionality of the home under the guidance of the Assistant Residential Director.
- Be willing to work where needed in the Owensboro and Henderson service areas.
- 24- to 48-hour shifts at residential service site with paid sleep time
