Knowledge:
- Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Hands on experience using measurement devices, i.e. calipers, micrometer, height gage, etc. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) procedures and applications.
- Education/Training - High school diploma or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
Abilities:
- Control Precision – Be able to adjust the controls of a machine quickly and repeatedly.
- Language - Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to effectively communicate.
- Strength – Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and sometimes lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
