Kinship Education Coach is a NET Treatment Services, Inc., position within the 2-year William Penn Foundation Grant responsible for offering individualized support to kinship families around issues such as navigating their unique parenting challenges, accessing early childhood education services and managing child behavior using the Incredible Years strategies. The Kinship Education Coach plays a vital role in supporting kinship caregivers raising children ages 0–8. Utilizing an adapted version of the evidence-based KEEP (Keeping Foster and Kin Parents Supported and Trained) model, the Coach provides individualized guidance, education, and support to help caregivers strengthen their parenting skills and improve outcomes for the children in their care.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's degree in social work, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Family Studies, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

· Minimum 2 years of experience working with families and young children, ideally in a home-visiting, coaching, or case management role.

· Knowledge of child development, trauma-informed care, and family systems.

· Familiarity with kinship care dynamics and the unique needs of kinship families preferred.

· Experience with the KEEP model or other structured parenting programs is a plus; training will be provided.

· Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage a small but intensive caseload.

· Comfort with documentation and using electronic data systems.

· Access to reliable transportation and flexibility for home visits and occasional evening/weekend hours.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Ability to recognize and prioritize workload to ensure all deadlines are met.

· Bi-lingual, Spanish Speaking, preferred
