General Summary:
To be one of the engineering representatives within McNaughton-McKay to work with Sales and vendors in the development of marketing and support activities for assigned product technologies.
Pre-Sale Responsibilities:
- An engineering contact within McNaughton-McKay responsible for the sales support of assigned product technologies.
- Develops relationships with Sales and the decision-makers within the identified strategic accounts.
- Monitors the application and business trends implemented at the identified strategic accounts.
- Develops a marketing strategy with Sales to promote the sales of assigned product technologies at the identified strategic accounts.
- Develops assigned product technologies solutions that address the application trends at the identified strategic accounts.Â
- Utilizes customer relationships and documented activities to leverage the value-add activities provided to the identified strategic accounts.Â
- Establishes business relationships with vendors of assigned product technologies as the technical liaison for customer sales and support.
- Assists in the development of vendor contracts and agreements with vendors of assigned product technologies.
Post-Sale Responsibilities:
- Manages the availability and the identified strategic account requirements for the assigned product technologies.
- Manages the availability and the Services and Solutions (SaS) team requirements for the assigned product technologies.
- Trains the Inside Sales and technical support personnel on the assigned product technologies.
- Educates and supports the Sales staff on the assigned technology products.
- Develops and maintains the information and support infrastructure required for the assigned product technologies. (Intranet, Passport, Tech. Support, etc.)
Service Responsibilities:
- Qualifies the level of assistance provided to customers with product and integration issues.
- Creates the required service procedures to support the assigned product technologies.Â
- Develops the vendor service/support strategies for the assigned product technologies.  Â
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
- Product knowledge of assigned product technologies.
- Thorough knowledge of strategic customer applications.
- Good relationship with the vendors of assigned technologies.
- Proven analytical, organizational and communication skills.
