Provides employees with rapid first aid and medical care, including during emergencies, as needed (within the scope of practice) when the clinic is open. Â

Provides episodic care for minor medical issues, medical consultations, and recommendations according to treatment care guidelines and in collaboration with the WorkCare Consulting Medical Director (CMD) and company policies/procedures. Â

Coordinates care with other WorkCare programs, using physician escalation services, as needed. Â

Provides evidence-based practices and health promotion with professionalism and a patient-centered approach.Â

Develops and provides injury prevention through demonstration, education, and ergonomic evaluations. Â

Assists with new-hire exams, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty assessments, and transitional work plans before an employee’s return to work, as needed, within the scope of practice, and as supported by the CMD. Â

Modifies interventions to progress the employee (as directed by the CMD) or to ensure employee safety and comfort. Â

Maintains frequent communication with the CMD and WorkCare supervisor(s) regarding all clinic issues and client requests. Â

Supports psychosocial strategies, referral to Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and case management efforts, as deemed necessary. Â

Helps employees prevent injuries by maintaining proper alignment, movement, and managing pain. Â

Develops job-specific agility routines and related programs. Â

Provides on-the-job coaching to help employees achieve and maintain physical fitness. Â

Performs ergonomic assessments and/or other employee intervention programs as implemented. Â

Supports health fairs and other wellness initiatives, such as encouraging healthy lifestyles by coaching employees on nutrition, fitness, sleep hygiene, and stress management. Â

Obtains data (such as biometrics) related to wellness interventions and provides wellness checks, obesity weigh-ins, blood pressure checks, etc. Â

Facilitates use of available company resources such as fitness centers, health risk appraisals, etc. Â

Periodically reports to client and WorkCare management. Â

Supports medical surveillance exams such as audiograms, vision, pulmonary function, respirator fit testing, and Department of Transportation (DOT) testing requirements, as needed, and feasible with available or procured equipment, in line with the scope of practice and as supported by the CMD>Â Â

Provides post-accident, pre-employment, for-cause, and random drug testing in line with the scope of practice and as supported by the CMD or Medical Review Officer (MRO). Â

Assists the CMD with health care administration work, such as developing protocols and policies.Â

Collaborates with the CMD to support clinical issues and client requests. Â

Contributes insight to incident reports and tracking of injury and clinic utilization data. Â

Actively participates in emergency response team activities, drills and training. Â

Maintains data, OSHA Form 300 and the data entry process, supported by clinic software or EMR system. Â

Orders and maintains supplies to ensure that the clinic is appropriately stocked. Â

Participates in the general flow of clinic operations (answering phones, checking mail, medical records, filing, copying charts, traffic control) in collaboration with current staff. Â

Assists with noise sampling, dust sampling and fire extinguishers. Â

Provides common pre-packages over-the-counter medicine to employees for episodic care. Â

 Facilitate regular screenings for blood pressure, weight, and body composition to empower employees in managing their health. Â

Wellness Coaching: Offer personalized consultations on exercise, blood pressure management, nutrition, sleep and stress management to support individual health goals. Â

Data Management: Maintain participant data and track program participation through the WorkCare Wellness Hub. Â

Health Promotion Programs: Create and deliver webinars on various wellness topics including health fair coordination. Â

Program Tracking: Monitor employee health and program participation, providing annual reports to stakeholders. Â

Mental Health Support: Teach mind-body techniques such as yoga or mindfulness-based exercises that promote mental well-being. Promote and support mental health resources available to employees. Â

Wellness Committee Management: Coordinate and manage the client wellness committee. Â

Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in meetings with Safety, Human Resources, and other executives to discuss wellness initiatives.Â
