POSITION PURPOSE
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of materials. This role includes organizing shipments, verifying contents, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. The position also requires handling emergency and standard parts orders, picking up and delivering materials, and reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.

Essential Functions:
- Stage, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Verify outgoing shipments by inspecting contents and comparing them to packing lists or manifests.
- Coordinate shipment preparation by combining orders and documentation from multiple departments.
- Report shipment issues such as damages, shortages, or delays to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Follow and enforce all company safety standards and protocols.
Secondary Functions:
- Identify and propose process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
