Mountain Creek, a four-season resort, offering skiing/snowboarding, bike park, waterpark, weddings, mountain coaster, restaurants and lodge.
How the Race Hill Crew works with the Team:
The Mountain Creek Racing Program educates and trains young athletes to develop their skiing ability and learn about alpine racing. As a member of the race crew, you will be responsible for the on-snow set-up and teardown of alpine race training and competition courses.
Team Member Responsibilities:
- Set-up and teardown safety net and crowd control fencing
- Set-up and teardown race courses and training drills
- Aid in the operation of timing and scoring for competitions
- Ensure safety of training environment including installing fencing and manually moving snow with rakes, shovels utilizing skis/boards.
- Maintain and replace race and training equipment as necessary from inventory
- Transportation of venue equipment from the lodge to the racing venue as needed
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Team Member Qualifications:

- Strong skiing or riding ability, including all conditions and terrain (i.e. steep trails, icy trails)
- Provide own ski or snowboard equipment
- Must be able to ski or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in adverse conditions including snow, rain, wind and sub-zero temperatures
- Ability to perform manual labor including raking, shoveling, kneeling, and lifting objects up to 50lbs
- Previous coaching, instructing, or racing experience is preferred but not required
- Be flexible; due to the changing nature of the business; snow, weather, lift operations, the schedule may constantly change and evolve
