Job Characteristics:

  • Perform specialized technical work efficiently with confidence and competence, while making decisions based on faction information in a high-pressure situation.
  • High attention to details and be concerned for correctness of work and the immediate work that must be completed with a high degree of quality and precision.
  • Complete tasks on time in a faster-than-average pace.
  • Ability to think outside the box and focus on troubleshooting, while working at a high pace and degree of accuracy.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist engineering with process development and documentation in automation area of production
  • Perform tooling change outs and preventative maintenance as required
  • Operate automation equipment as required including program changes, maximize output and quality
  • Advise on better means to complete the functions within the job and continually improve the operation
  • Maintain safe, clean and well organized work environment
  • Complete appropriate data entry as directed, prepare shift summaries as requested
  • Monitor tooling and supplies and take action to keep required materials in stock
  • Complete assigned tasks on time and to required specification(s)
  • Handle material as directed to ensure an uninterrupted flow of work
  • Perform additional duties within the broad scope of the job

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, and 3+ years manufacturing experience
  • Hands on manufacturing experience with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Orderly and responsible with tools and work area
  • Effective written & verbal communication skills, as well as organizational and time management skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be safety conscious and present self in clean, well-kept manner.
