Job Summary:

As the Director of Operations at APP, you will lead a number of critical functions of the company, driving a high level of service to our customers while improving overall cost and quality.  As part of the management team you will participate in making decisions that guide the company’s future.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, quality, supply chain, purchasing, and facilities
  • Drive the recruitment, development, education and training of all associates
  • Manage projects and drive CI activities across all areas of responsibility
  • Drive the development of company policies and standard operating procedures
  • Responsible for on-time and on cost of all shipped product
  • Participate in the management team to lead the operation toward the achievement of the Company Goals and Vision
  • Develop and maintain methodology for conducting profitability and pricing analysis
  • Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities for growth, and areas that need to be reorganized, restructured, or eliminated
  • Confer with the team members to coordinate and prioritize strategic planning, goal setting, and measurement to objective analysis
  • Identify and address root causes of P&L non-conformances

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or technology; MBA preferred
  • Experience leading quality and manufacturing engineering is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage with P&L, financial metrics, pricing & analysis
  • Detail oriented with a pragmatic approach when it comes to planning, inventory management, budgets, and financials
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including: Word/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Hands-on and resourceful
  • Competitive within a highly ethical and disciplined framework
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, fosters and thrives in a team environment
