PRIMARY FUNCTION
This person will be able to perform a wide variety of payments processing tasks, reporting, and troubleshooting. The work includes software testing and training. The Digital Channels & Payments Team is responsible for ensuring that wires, mobile deposits, ACH origination, remote deposits, etc., are processed successfully each day. The team also serves as the escalation point for any questions related to the digital banking, mobile applications and the range of services provided via those channels.
Within the Digital Channels & Payments Team, this person will be the lead on cards, instant payments and international payments as those programs are implemented and mature.
This person will also maintain a high level of expertise in order to back up and support the wide range of functions managed within this team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in coordination of the Legend Bank debit card program, including preparation of reports, risk management, digital wallet support, troubleshooting and software updates.
- Assist on projects related to instant payment services.
- Support international payments including training and developing materials.
- Setup and support of Treasury Management customers new services, user profiles, terminations and troubleshooting.
- Process electronic payments, especially related to Legend Bank fintech and Treasury Management customers.
- Process mobile deposit submissions.
- Processing incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
- Ensure all aspects of Legend Bank Wire Policy are met with regards to agreements, verification, processing, reporting and recordkeeping.
- Work within policy parameters to adjust transaction limits for customers upon request.
- Processing commercial online banking applications and account requests.
- Process transactions flagged for additional review by fraud prevention software.
- Process Deposit Network accounts and transfers, agreements, verification, processing, reporting and recordkeeping.
- Assist with requests for support on all services offered via online and mobile banking.
- Prepare managerial reports as needed.
- Assist with new projects, systems, products testing, software upgrades and implementations, as required.
- Pursue additional knowledge through training made available by Legend Bank.
- Share knowledge among the department in effort to maintain consistency.
- Update relevant procedures as needed.
