- Schedule apartment turnovers on a timely basis (painting, cleaning, carpet cleaning, etc.) and update MRI Make Readies with completion dates.
- Monitor vendor performance.
- Assist Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor with apartment move-in/move-out inspections.
- Perform all tasks assigned by Property Manager and/or corporate office.
- Conduct thorough inspections of all make-ready units before turnover, documenting deficiencies and ensuring corrections are completed before move-in.
- Develop and maintain a standardized make-ready checklist for quality consistency across all units.
- Coordinate make-ready tasks with maintenance supervisor and coordinate with vendors to meet turnover deadlines.
- Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff on make-ready standards and best practices.
- Ensure clear communication between leasing, maintenance, and vendors to avoid delays in unit readiness.
- Maintain immediate workspace and surrounding area in a clean and professional manner.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate reports and complete all reports as requested by Property Manager and/or Corporate Office.
The ideal candidate must be able to perform all Maintenance Supervisor duties.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
· Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
· Ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
· Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
· Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving or maneuvering up to 100 pounds.
· Have reliable transportation to and from work. [For Florida, Must have valid driver’s license.]
· Must provide and use their own hand tools to perform duties required unless otherwise specified by the property.
· Effective problem solving and time management skills
· Good attention to detail

· Able to respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
