· Perform apartment maintenance tasks, including maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing or replacing items such as:
o Plumbing
o Electrical
o Appliances
o Air conditioning
· Assist with the preparation of vacant apartments for occupancy and helping with apartment turnover in general.
· Participate in community maintenance duties, including building maintenance, preventative maintenance, service request completion, groundskeeping, and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least one to two years of related maintenance experience and/or training.
· Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping people.
· Ability to communicate effectively and in a positive manner with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
· Knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
· Capable of frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving or maneuvering up to 100 pounds.
· Have reliable transportation to and from work. [For Florida, Must have valid driver’s license.]
· Must provide and use their own hand tools to perform duties required unless otherwise specified by the property.
· Effective problem solving and time management skills
· Good attention to detail
· Team player attitude
· Able to respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Job Type: Full-time (8-hour shift, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime)
Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
