Description

The Commercial Sales Manager oversees the sales operations within the commercial sector, focusing on driving business growth through the acquisition of new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and leading a team of sales professionals. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the market and customer needs.  This position works closely with the Regional Manager and independent manufacturer's representatives in the Central region to achieve commercial sales objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL                
Sales Strategy Development            
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the commercial sector
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform sales tactics.
Leadership                
• Manage activities, provide training and support a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Client Relationship Management          
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Actively schedules jobsite visits.
• Understand business needs, present tailored solutions, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Sales Performance Monitoring            
• Track sales performance metrics and KPIs, analyze sales data, and prepare reports for management.
• Adjust strategies and tactics as necessary to improve results.
Business Development              
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial sector.
• Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to expand the client base.
• Responsible to determine pricing and distribution channels
Collaboration              
• Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, engineering, and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
Market Research              
• Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.  
• Use insights to refine sales strategies and offerings.
Product Expert              
• Experienced and knowledgeable in technical training for product line as it relates to the marketplace.
• Develop trainings and presentations for customers.
• Assist clients in design engineering of projects.
Marketing                
• Attend trade shows to promote products and services.
Compliance                
• Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Other Duties                
• Any or all duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

 

  • 4+ years of demononstrated hirstory of sales in tankless water heating and experience working within industry-commercial/distribution sales.
  • Must reside in Texas/near major travel hub and willing to travel region by car and plane up to 60%
  • Must have a valid driver's license 
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Self-managing, motivated, and driven to achieve targets and goals
  • Dynamic and outgoing engagement style and exceptional follow-through
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Confident presence/delivery during business engagements and presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple traning initiative simultaneously
