Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
Required Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of compensation and benefit practices and regulations.
- Working in healthcare and distribution is a plus.
Required Experience:
- Ten (10+) years of experience defining compensation guidelines.
- Ten (10+) years of experience administering fundamental salary administration and compensation programs and policies, and compensation-specific training for HR and business throughout the US.
- Experience writing job descriptions, conducting salary surveys for various states, conducting equity analysis both internal and external.
- Experience applying analytical methods to business problems, driving improved decision making and outcomes.

Required Skills:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to employee information.
- Ability to compile and analyze data that can be used to create a data storyline.
- Intermediate to advanced level spreadsheet experience (pivot tables, databases, formulas).

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Must have a detail orientation and the proven ability to prioritize work

Professional Certification:
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) Preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRMP-SCP, PHR, or SPHR Certification a plus
Physical requirements
Vision, hearing, speech, movements requiring the use of wrists, hands and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for prolonged periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts to 20 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working condition include normal office setting.

Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
