Description

Tribal Diagnostics is searching for a Laboratory Customer Service Rep.  The hours are Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm.  

Job Summary:

As a Medical Laboratory Customer Service Representative at Tribal Diagnostics, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, including healthcare professionals, clinics, and patients. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities aimed at delivering outstanding customer service and support.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries and provide information regarding laboratory services, test results, and specimen collection procedures through phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns professionally and in a timely manner. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department as needed.
  • Accurately enter and process laboratory test orders, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries in our database.
  • Provide information and guidance to clients and patients regarding specimen collection requirements, test preparation, and result interpretation.
  • Collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure the highest standards of service and accuracy in test results.
  • Successfully participates in and supports Tribal Diagnostics' compliance program and initiatives.

 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service and a medical laboratory setting required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures is an advantage.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move around the laboratory
  • Ability to work at a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Exposure to various chemicals and compounds
