                                    Housekeeping Supervisor 
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Evening Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee evening operations and lead a team of five staff members. This role is essential to maintaining smooth workflow, ensuring quality standards, and supporting a safe productive work environment during evening hours.
 
Job Summary:
 
Supervises and coordinates activities of Housekeeping / Floor Tech and assist in guidance of Housekeeping crew including addressing janitorial, maintenance, and safety issues. Work in collaboration with FOD Manager. 
Duties/Responsibilities:
	- Keep the facilities clean and maintain a professional atmosphere. 
 
	- Do required daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections.
 
	- Manage Quarterly Section Change Spreadsheet / Adjust section sizes to work flow. 
 
	- Work with Floor Tech to maintain Floors & Spreadsheet on regular Floor Maintenance. 
 
	- Keep FOD Manager informed of any issues that arise in the HSK / Janitorial department. 
 
	- Work with Safety officer to make sure all SDS books are update annually. 
 
	- Maintain building security during HSK hours of operation. 
 
	- Maintain proper operation of all janitorial equipment. 
 
	- Directs Housekeeping / Floor Tech staff, as needed for building coverage when shorthanded.
 
	- Train staff in Housekeeping and work with Floor Tech as needed proper methods and procedures.
 
	- Recommends personnel actions on hiring & discharging to ensure proper staffing.
 
	- Preform Annual performance evaluations for staff.
 
	- Assist in Snow removal, ice melt sweeping (Floor Tech)
 
	- Identify Building maintenance needs and communicate to FOD Manager. 
 
Work Experience:
Previous work experience of about 2-3 years in the housekeeping sector is advantageous.
Education Requirements:
Must have the education or be willing to be trained in the OSHA Standards Regulations in regards to housekeeping, as well as blood borne pathogens. 
General Requirements:
Knowledge of janitorial techniques, and safety requirements as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Must also be able to work under pressure; be detail oriented; have good work ethics and communication skills and must have the ability to work well with staff / and FOD Manager. Must have basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
 
Working Conditions:
Primarily standing and walking with some lifting, bending, over-head movement and scrubbing.
 
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
 
This is a full-time position 40 hours or more a week. Primarily works Monday through Friday swing position 6:00 p.m. 2:30 a.m. occasional weekend coverage. Expected hours of work may change at any time with or without notice.
