Job Summary/Overview
The Food & Beverage Senior Accounting Clerk processes accounts payable and receivable. Additionally, this position is responsible for scanning, filing, logging, copying, and assisting in various office projects and completing special projects as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Review and process daily F&B receipts
- Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database
- Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Completes special projects as assigned
- Cross-trains in the duties and responsibilities of the Accounting Department as necessary
- Performs all duties in adherence to OTOW standards
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors, and coworkers
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)
Education and Experience:
- Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience required
- Specialized technical and accounting courses or equivalent preferred
- POS software experience preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English and have good verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment), and working knowledge of construction/accounting software programs is preferred
- Microsoft Office skills required
