The Membership clerk is responsible for greeting, assisting, and providing direction and information to members, parents, visitors, and other guests of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the reception area and Club is warm and friendly by greeting club members, parents, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each persons visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Professionally answers, screens, and directs phone calls; takes messages.
- Collects and maintains youth membership documentation.
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks to Club to include data entry for Youth Programing.
- Records daily member attendance and receive Club revenues.
- Notifies Branch Director of any serious Club members issues or concerns.
- Assist in promoting and stimulating Club membership.
- Provides positive ongoing assistance to Club members.
- Prepare and organize Club membership materials; directly supporting programs and activities as needed.
- Assist in delivering effective communication with parents, volunteers, and the local community for their enthusiastic involvement and support of the goals, objectives, programs, and tasks of the Branch.
- Accountable for assigned equipment and supplies.
- Other duties or tasks that may be assigned.
- Recruit and assist obtaining future club members.
