About The Position:
The Education Technology Manager serves as a key member of the Data Team for E.L. Haynes Public Charter School. Reporting to the Director of Data and Accountability, this position supports the tools most often used by teachers and students throughout the day and the day-to-day maintenance of those systems, including: Infinite Campus (student information system), Clever (educational technology & single-sign-on tool), SLED and Qlik (state data accountability and review platforms), and more. The Data Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring all systems have up-to-date data and supporting other LEA staff with platform usage. The Data Platforms Manager will have occasional responsibilities to train LEA staff on key platforms.
Starting salary range: $71,000 - $94,618
You Will:
Manage Key Instructional and Compliance Platforms
- Implement, maintain, and improve platforms together with the Director of Data & Accountability, including managing integrations, user permissions, ensuring all necessary components are complete and functional for school use;
- Provide user-centered support on instructional and compliance platforms, including Infinite Campus (school SIS), Clever, assessment platforms, and state/authorizer compliance platforms (such as SLED and Qlik);
Manage educational technology (“ed tech”) platforms:
- Oversee and ensure accuracy of roster management, integration with the SIS, user permissions, license provisioning, and liaising with the IT team as needed
- Manage roster feeds for online assessments and blended learning tools (e.g. Illuminate, i-Ready, MAP Panorama);
- Manage basic functions and troubleshoot issues with online learning tools;
- Train point staff in managing basic functions within online tools;
- Oversee data components for assessment management including verifying rosters, creating testing groups and assigning testing accommodations for online testing platforms including MAP, ANET and DC CAPE;
Ensure Public Data Accuracy:
- Protect school reputation by ensuring all publicly reported data is consistently accurate, complete, and aligned to authorizer and other external stakeholder expectations;
- Maintain a high bar of excellence in data accuracy with external stakeholders, including the State Superintendent of Education, Public Charter School Board, Board, and philanthropic partners;
- Regularly review public data reports to ensure E.L. Haynes schools are accurately represented;
- Support accountability reporting, including error monitoring, error resolution, and data submissions.
