What does it take to be successful in this role?
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ proven experience in repairing and maintaining processing equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, hazardous materials handling, and waste management procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software for drawing development.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software programs.
- Strong understanding of PLC systems, controls, drives, and robotics.
- Strong leadership and planning skills, with the ability to supervise and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
- Basic mathematical proficiency and the ability to accurately read a ruler.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in computer systems and applications relevant to maintenance operations.
- Problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Preferred Requirements

- Engineering degree
- In-depth knowledge of a folding a carton/litho printing plant is a strong asset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights, including climbing ladders and catwalks.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, high-noise environments, and dusty conditions.
- Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions and chemicals used in the production process.
