Compensation: $170,000 - $205,000 | Incentive Plan Eligible

As Executive Vice President of Donor Engagement, you will lead a movement of generosity that fuels global ministry impact. With a small but committed team, this hands-on executive role demands strategic leadership combined with a “doer” mentality—driving donor engagement, executing results-oriented strategies, and leveraging technology to build deeper relationships.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a long-term donor engagement strategy aligned with ministry goals.
  • Personally cultivate relationships with major donors, foundations, and strategic partners.
  • Oversee major gifts, planned giving, sponsorships, and grant initiatives.
  • Lead a values-driven donor engagement team with a results-oriented approach.
  • Optimize fundraising systems and processes for operational efficiency.
  • Utilize technology to enhance donor interactions and streamline giving.
  • Partner with communications and marketing to tell our story powerfully.
  • Serve as a vital voice on the Executive Leadership Team.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • 10-15+ years of experience in ministry leadership, donor engagement, or nonprofit fundraising.
  • Proven track record of cultivating major gifts and driving fundraising success.
  • Hands-on, execution-driven leadership—must be a “doer” in a small team.
  • Strategic thinker with expertise in donor engagement systems and processes.
  • Tech-savvy leader who leverages digital tools for fundraising innovation.
  • Christ-centered values with a passion for global ministry impact.
  • Ability to travel 25-30% for donor and partner engagement. 
  • Bonus: CFRE certification or experience in Christian ministry
