The Role
We're looking for a Chief Curriculum Officer to lead the development of biblically centered curriculum, VBS, and church resources that equip churches, schools, and ministry organizations to make disciples and grow God's Kingdom.
As a visionary leader and strategic thinker, the Chief Curriculum Officer will oversee all aspects of curriculum and VBS publishing. This person will guide a passionate content creation team fostering a collaborative and spiritually enriching environment. The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to biblically sound content, possess a heart for ministry, and bring a proven track record of innovation and excellence in Christian education.
This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a leader who can set a compelling vision, manage complex projects, and build strong partnerships across the ministry. You’ll collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations leaders to achieve financial goals, expand impact, and strengthen our reputation as a trusted provider of transformational discipleship resources.

Responsibilities
- Set the strategic vision for curriculum development and portfolio growth.
- Oversee the development of biblically sound, pedagogically effective curriculum for churches, schools, and ministries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet P&L targets and drive financial growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with educators and ministry leaders.
- Ensure curriculum aligns with ministry values and meets the evolving needs of faith communities.
- Guide initiatives that enhance engagement, expand partnerships, and increase impact.
- Lead the budgeting process and monitor performance metrics for the curriculum division ensuring sustainable growth and fiscal responsibility.
- Represent the curriculum division internally and externally with excellence and integrity.
- Oversee the full curriculum and VBS publishing process, including content development, instructional design, and production.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for curriculum growth, identifying new opportunities in print and digital learning.
- Guide editorial and instructional design teams, ensuring theological accuracy, educational effectiveness, and innovation.
- Represent the organization at industry events, ministry gatherings, and educational conferences.
