The Physician Representative will be responsible for driving surgical volume growth through outreach, education,
and support of industry relationships. They grow partner relations, further the overall brands reputation within
a regional market, and support effective patient and partner communications alongside internal patient care
teams. This role is team player and key contributor to meeting and exceeding team outreach and appointment
targets.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing industry partners to including Optometrists, MDs and other medical professionals

Develop, maintain, and implement a routine call plan for the assigned territory to educate on services, surgeons, technology and practices

Distribute marketing materials and clinic information to partners in a timely manner

Assist partners in providing exceptional patient experiences by developing and maintaining communications and education about best practices for patient referral processes

Maintain strong understanding and educate partners about our surgeons, procedures, offerings, organization process, protocols, pricing, technology

Identify key relationships and follow up accordingly

Report on outreach efforts and trends to Regional Manager Partnerships Development and team members

Meet and exceed touchpoint, calls, and education event goals set my regional manager in assigned territory

Plan and attend continuing education and marketing events for their region

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or related field preferred
  • 3 + years of experience in outside medical sales preferred
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, energetic, capable of strong sales presentations, have excellent oral and written communication skills & the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Entrepreneurial and outstanding territory management skills are required
  • Must maintain valid drivers license and adhere to the organizations Fleet Safety Policy Guidelines
