About Us:
New Bedford Community Health (NBCH) is a busy Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to advancing women’s health through innovative, compassionate and evidence-based care.  Our mission is to deliver integrated outpatient primary care as well as office-based women’s health services and gynecological support, such as pap smears, IUDs, and Nexplanon. 

Position:
We’re seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician with a passion for women’s health. You’ll work with a supportive, multidisciplinary team to care for a diverse patient population.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide outpatient primary care and women’s health services
• Manage acute and chronic conditions
• Offer preventive care, screenings, and patient education
• Collaborate with care teams and specialists
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• MD or DO with unrestricted license
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine/Family Medicine with OB
• DEA & Controlled Substance Registration
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Experience in women’s health and primary care

Preferred:

• 2+ years independent practice
• Experience with diverse and underserved populations
• Portuguese or Spanish language skills (a plus)
• EMR proficiency
