Description

The world's largest Barrel House is in need of a Front of House Supervisor! That's right, we are looking for someone to fit well into our awesome team!

The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for directing and assisting Front of House employees and for the overall operation of the restaurant under direct supervision of the General Manager. The Front of House Supervisor would fill in for the Front of House Manager’s as needed and would also be a server.

Job Title: Front of House Supervisor

General Summary:

The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for directing and assisting Front of House employees and for the overall operation of the restaurant under direct supervision of the General Manager. The Front of House Supervisor would fill in for the Front of House Manager’s as needed and would also be a server.

Essential Functions:

  • Act as Manager on Duty when no managers are present.
  • Communicates with the general manager regarding all issues that happen on a shift.
  • Responsible for quality leadership in the restaurant promoting positive employee morale. Leads by example.
  • Ensures steps of service and service standards are being met.
  • Ensures bar standards are being met.
  • Responsible for expo.
  • Manages Front of House staff and ensures checklist duties are complete.
  • Backs up all Front of House personnel as needed.
  • Responsible for delegating responsibilities to team members.
  • Ensures menu items are prepared properly.
  • Resolves guest issues.
  • Delivers quality guest service and monitors the level of service throughout the restaurant.
  • Adheres to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Adheres to health and safety standards when handling food.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent

Computer Skills:

  • Preferred: Point of Sale System

Experience:

  • Experience: 1 to 5 years working in a high-volume restaurant.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction
  • Ability to perform duties with extreme temperature and noise ranges
  • Ability to see within normal parameters
  • Ability to hear within normal range
