Job Title: Relocation/Transition Specialist

Department: Commercial Cleaning

Reports To: General Manager and President

        

Job Description

As the Manager of Transitions by Go Green, you will be pivotal in overseeing the seamless execution of the moving process. In addition to organizing, cleaning, and client support, you will manage budgets, hit sales goals, build relationships for sales, and implement marketing strategies to enhance the company's presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Organizing, Packing and Moving:

  • Develop and implement efficient and systematic organizational strategies
  • Coordinate with a team to categorize items, label boxes, and create an organized inventory
  • Schedule movers, trucks, and storage as needed
  • Packing and moving will be completed by you first.  If it is a large project, you will budget according to the revenue

2. Cleaning:

  • Supervise cleaning activities to thoroughly clean homes or spaces before and after the move
  • Collaborate with cleaning staff or services to maintain high cleanliness standards

3. Client Support:

  • Act as clients' main point of contact, addressing their concerns, questions, and special requests.
  • Confirm all contracts have been signed and placed in proper file
  • Provide guidance on packing and moving logistics to enhance the client experience
  • Upsell other areas of the company like cleaning, power washing, etc..
  • Always ask for Google reviews and referrals when finished

4. Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for organizing, cleaning, and client support operations. 
  • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial goals are met

5. Goal Setting:

  • Establish weekly performance goals that align with overall company objectives.

(4 outside calls and 10 trace calls)

  • Set budget goals for 2026 

6. Marketing:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company's services
  • Ongoing selling of both entities
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
  • Monitor the website for changes and add promotion
  • Take pictures and videos for the marketing team to use
  • Set bi-monthly meetings with the marketing team to go over the marketing plan (first year, created by the marketing team)
  • Offer ROI on all marketing spending

7. Team Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of organizing and cleaning staff at Transitions
  • Schedule and assign tasks, ensuring the team is well-coordinated and meets deadlines
  • Communicate when Transitions will need to hire part-time/full-time employees

8. Logistics Coordination:

  • Work closely with third-party vendors to set up jobs
  • Continue growing the partner base with Uhaul, storage centers in the area, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues and work with customer to ensure 100% satisfaction

9. Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure all aspects of organizing and cleaning meet established standards
  • Conduct inspections on all Transition jobs to verify the completion of tasks and address any deficiencies

10. Documentation and Record Keeping:

  • Maintain detailed records of contracts, inventory, cleaning schedules, and client preferences- goal- after we move to start an inventory of Transitions supplies, tools, and marketing supplies
  • Prepare reports summarizing completed tasks, financial performance, and areas for improvement
  • Use Google Calendar for all appointments, meetings, and time off
  • Use Bloom Growth Software daily to document tasks and ideas
  • Learn and maintain the ICC licensing laws and manuals for annual audit

 

   

Other Duties as needed

Additional responsibilities include helping with GG manager duties when available, payroll, hiring employees, orientations, completing Paycom employee requests, working with HR on benefits, and any other needs of the General Manager while building this business. 

 

Qualification Standards

  • Proven experience in organizing, cleaning, or related fields
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Budget management and goal-setting experience
  • Marketing skills with an understanding of effective promotional strategies
  • This is a 40+ hour, full-time, in-office, benefit-included position. Hours are from Mon-Fri 8-5 with an hour lunch break. Some after-five and weekend hours may be needed. 
  • Be able to lift 25 pounds or more
  • Valid driver’s license
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance including hair color.
