JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing client relationships within your assigned geographic territory. You will represent our full suite of physical perimeter security solutions — including gates, barriers, bollards, fencing systems, intrusion detection, CCTV systems, commercial doors, and access control — and associated service and maintenance contracts.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B sales, preferably in construction, security, or industrial services, and excels at solution-based selling to facility managers, contractors, security professionals, and property owners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and referrals.

Territory Management:
Manage a defined geographic sales territory, developing a robust pipeline of commercial, industrial, and governmental clients.

Client Consultation:
Conduct site assessments and consult with clients to understand their perimeter security needs, proposing tailored solutions and maintenance plans.

Proposal Development & Closing:
Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts. Negotiate terms and close sales to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Account Management:
Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients by offering upgrades, service contracts, and ongoing support.

Collaboration:
Coordinate with project managers, installation crews, and service technicians to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Reporting:
Maintain CRM records, provide accurate sales forecasts, and report weekly on activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in security systems, construction, or industrial products.
  • Knowledge of commercial gates, gate automation, physical security solutions or perimeter protection systems is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Experience selling to facility managers, general contractors, government entities, or critical infrastructure sites.
  • Technical understanding of security hardware and systems (e.g., electric gates, crash-rated barriers, access control integration).

 

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

  • Local in assigned territory, focus on Los Angeles and Southern California.
